A view from atop the Estaurium east towards Fort Morgan Peninsula visible across the mouth of Mobile Bay approximately 3.2 miles away on the horizon. If the camera is angled more southward, you'd see a cluster of buildings in the foreground that is a part of the Dauphin Island Sea Lab. The Civil War era Fort Gaines is visible beyond these buildings.
